an update is coming

This is a little teaser for you guys! :) I left my camera at Renay's house and I can't do any of these posts without pictures!!!

Things to blog about in the next few days:

***Gracelyn's birthday

***Cannon doing something extra-super-duper-special!

***haircuts for the boys

I also have some promotional posts coming for our Children's Ministry. God is leading this ministry and our church in a direction that you just can't help but be excited about. He is really showing Teresa and I what we need to do AND how to accomplish it. Praise Him for that!! :) He has been so faithful in our journey and we have learned what perseverance truly means. I speak that for our Children's Ministry and my personal life.

A few weeks ago our worship minister saw me after service and said that he had a message for me. That morning when he was getting ready for church my picture and then Cameron's face came into his mind and God said persevere. That was it. I started crying immediately. I couldn't help it because God knew I needed to hear that. He knew I needed to hear from Him and for me to know that He sees us having a tough go at life right now and we are needing to persevere.

Needless to say I am becoming more and more emotional these days (why~I have no idea) and I am learning to be more and more trusting in the Lord. He is breaking me to the point of exhaustion and total meltdown mode. Nice huh??? Makes you want to call me up and ask how things are going...

I have had several conversations lately that the person calling got more than they bargained for. I mean seriously why did I cry when someone asked about Cannon recently?? He is great! Healthy, happy, not a care in the world. That should be enough. But there is more. Another post...

Mason is precious as can be. Growing up and being so big~I can't stop thinking of how life is passing before my eyes.

Gracelyn is 6! That can't be. Seriously can't be.

I know it's kind of annoying when people always compare their situations....BUT...not even knowing the situation, I think I understand about the crying when people ask about progress. It happens to me often regarding Tate's progress. My tears are always brimming it seems...even when good things are happening. Hang in there!

***Sorry for the comparison...just want you to know you're not on your own with that! :)

Yeah I can't wait for an update with pictures..ok the Splash pad is at San Jacinito park. It was fun when they were there by themselves then a HERD of kids with no adults came to play..they were nice kids but I felt like I was in charge of all of them...like a 16 month old and one a little older there by themselves with brother/sister who was like 7 or 8..I mean I just have issues with my kids being out of my sight let alone at a park..too many crazies out there for me..Yes..it was nice but it got crazy fast if you know what I mean :) Have a nice week..

Awww.. Keri, I want you to know God has awesome things in store for Cannon. He is a special little boy who will become a fine man. You are faithful to God and to Cannon's needs and the Lord will reward you for that! Remember God knew Cannon before He gave him to you and God also knew you were exactly the Mommy Cannon needed! I love you guys!

I agree with Misty, God knew him even before He gave him to you! You are the parents God chose for Cannon and all your sweet babies! We all are in those valleys sometimes! I am glad you are persevering and looking to the Lord! You are really awesome!!!
