And?

And the rest of the updates I promised?

Well here you go! :)

1. Cannon is doing very well pottying. In fact we haven't had any accidents and he now comes and tells me when he has to go potty. We still aren't home free on #2 but we will get there. I am still in shock when I tell people what he has accomplished in a very SHORT time. I am so proud of Cannon.

2. Tonight is the kid's birthday party. I can't wait. I live for these moments. Working so hard and making a day extra special for my family. I just love it. I felt so bad yesterday because I hadn't done any pre-planning. UGH! The only thing that I did was send invitations last week so it finally sunk in that I will have a large group show up at my house around 6 and will expect to see dinner like I promised and that my children would prefer me to have some sort of decorations up. So off I went planning in the morning and now I can safely say that I am ready. I can't wait. I love decorating and baking and all the fun stuff that goes with it. Gracelyn begged for a store bought cake this year and I talked her out of it because secretly I want to make her cupcakes like always. I can't wait to show off the finished results! Theme you may ask~well to accommodate a 3 year old and a 6 year old I have to get creative. It is bugs, butterflies and flowers. The boy doesn't care but the girl sure does so it is a tad on the girly side! :) I can't wait to post pictures.

3. Church camp. Teresa and I found an amazing camp to attend this year. I am sooooo excited to go next week. They are so organized and they pack it full of activities that are chalked full of the theme. I have been told that although it is hot the camp is just amazing. Last week for the preteen camp it was "Get Real" and next week for the children's camp the theme is "Life in 3D". Teresa was the sponsor for last week and I get to go with the children's camp. WAHOO! I can't wait to post all about it.

4. Plum Creek Fellowship is having it's first annual BTSB (Back to School Bash). I never know how to address it when it is the first of something that we plan to continue. Is it actually the first annual? Or do you just start next year with the 2nd annual?? Anyway it is going to be a end of summer/back to school blowout. Bouncers, food, family activities, and the most important thing is that we will pray over our children heading back to school and for them to be protected and safe. That they will have the courage to stand up for who they are and whom they belong to. It will be so fun! Come join us~West Hills park August 20th at 6:30.

5. Well the boys got haircuts. Buzzed. SHORT! Both my boys hate haircuts. I have no idea how to get them used to them. So in the mean time we buzzed them so that it will take longer to grow out. Mason looks like he is 10 years old. I have had more comments this week how old he looks. I thought it was a funny assessment but really he does look older. I will have pictures from the party to show them off.

hmmm what else? I guess that might do it for today. I have to make a few things for the festivities tonight so I better get crackin'.

I want to thank you all for the sweet comments about Cannon. That made my day to see all the wonderful things my friends wrote. I appreciate you all. I do know that I couldn't ever do this mothering thing by myself!
