stitching up Cannon

While I was at camp enjoying a time with our 1st-3rd graders Cameron was at the emergency room with Cannon getting stitched up! He had fallen and hit his chin on our foot board and had a really clean cut. No bruising so that is a huge blessing. He is a trooper (Cameron is too) and did so well. Don't know if we are setting a trend from traumas around Cannon's birthday or what but this is one tradition I will gladly give up. Sorry for the dirty face he had just finished off the Cheetos!

Poor Cannon....he is such a trooper. I can't believe it took 4 stitches.

Poor baby! You can tell him that Aidan had a staple in his head once from falling! Gotta love them boys, haha!

Poor guy! Maybe it's a blessing you weren't there to have to watch the stitches. :)

Keri, Cannon and I have more in common than you know!

Not only do we both have stitches right now - I also have had stitches in the exact same spot under my chin! I was 5 and bounced off the wet pavement at a self car wash. I can still remember my dad sewing me up!

Tell Cannon he can look forwarded to seeing that scar every time he shaves when he gets older - no hair will grow on the scar!

Similar creatures, indeed!

Oh man!!! Sean thinks his scar is really cool. Cannon is such a sweet boy. I've loved interacting with him in the nursery. He will just surprise me at times and sit in my lap after not wanting anything to do with me. Sweet boy!
