What do I do first??? There are a million things to do this week to get ready for Easter and I have not done any yet. I have no excuses because we are on Spring Break and that means there is nothing in our way of accomplishing our tasks for the week. There seems to be a mountain of laundry that appeared over night so that is something to get done today. Then I have to clean the house for Easter dinner Sunday. Dye some Easter eggs, cook a brisket (looking forward to this one), make Easter cookies. All while trying to remember the reason behind all the hoopla.
At least the one thing I don't have to worry about is the thing that brings me the most joy this weekend. I get to celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ at our Good Friday service and then again on Sunday.
If I don't blog for a few days it is because there is some serious work going on. It is big business praising GOD! :) Whew!

I totally understand!! Easter is actually my favorite holiday, and not for the candy or eggs. They are fun to add to the mix though! :) Happy Easter to the Melbans, and thanks again for everything last night. You are the best!!
It is so easy to forget why we have this holiday. It's not about the bunny or eggs, which Dax keeps asking me why the bunny brings eggs!! Thanks for the reminder to keep the important things first! happy easter
