I went and ate lunch with Gracelyn today. Fun experience for sure. We had steak fingers, mashed potatoes, biscuits and peaches. YUMMY~NOT! It wasn't all that great. But I had the best company. G introduced me to everyone at her table and we had nice conversations about our pets, who all got in trouble in class and who can't go to the bathroom by themselves because they play too much. Oh the joys of an elementary lunch room. I loved it. I might just make it a regular Thursday thing.

Not so good food for sure, but I am like you I LOVE THE COMPANY!
I wouldn't share this with Gracelyn . . . but my mom always brought Whataburger when she came for lunch.
I'm pretty sure it was because she couldn't stand to eat the steak fingers!
I feel sorry for the kids. Where I worked the food was AWESOME!! :) I ate in there most days and loved it. I might have just caught them on an off day or something. I need to think of something to bring up there special. Thanks for the tip Wade!
How fun! I remember my dad coming to the lunch room and eating with me when I was in grade school. The problem was no one talked at the table when he was there--something about him coming in wearing his Deputy Sheriff uniform. :)
Gotta love school lunches!
I go eat with Daxtyn every Friday and love every minute of it. But we have to sit at a table in the middle of the cafeteria instead of getting to sit with his friends so that sort of takes away from some great moments of getting to know hi s friends... but I do treasure those lunches!
