We got little sleep last night but did make it to the hospital by 5:30. It seemed to fly by and we were back in the car by 8:00.
Cannon did just fine and the exact words of the dr. were that there was a ton of mucus in there that he had a hard time sucking out but he finally got it all. That it was like glue and very thick. If Cannon's personality didn't change he would be very surprised.
He woke up SCREAMING!!!! WOW! I was so anxious because we couldn't calm him down and it was just hard. So after they saw he was okay they let us go. He was inconsolable for about 3 hours until he feel asleep at 11:00. I was exhausted because of little sleep and trying to console Cannon. Cameron had the hardest part because Cannon wouldn't let him do anything without him. They are both sleeping still and I hope that the anesthesia is completely out of his system when he wakes up.
The funny juice they gave him this morning was hilarious. You missed it Teresa by 30 seconds. He was loopy deluxe. I teared up at a first to see him like that and then he just started laughing at everything. You couldn't help but laugh as well. He gladly went into the nurse's arms so I knew he was out of it.
Thank you for all your prayers. I certainly appreciate them. We had a successful morning even though it has been difficult and tiresome.

Wow! That is the hardest part of being a momma I guess---not being able to console an upset child. I'm so proud of him for being brave, and I can't wait to see the difference it makes for him!
I know it is uneasy to see your child loopy, but would haved loved to laugh with him!! Sorry he was so upset for so long~ I am praying that the worst is absolutely OVER!!
Bless both your hearts!! Hopefully he will be feeling better soon.
So glad it went well!
I am glad he did so well. I remember how loopy Alexis was too. You can't help but laugh once you realize they are ok! We will keep praying for you guys. Let us know if you need anything!
I am so glad that this morning went good! I have had you guys in my prayers all day! I cannot wait to see the difference in him:)
Praise God that everything went well this morning. I'm excited for Cannon and the improvements that I KNOW will happen. We will continue to keep you all in our prayers.
I am so glad that today is over, Keri. I know that you are too. You and Cannon are in our prayers. God bless you guys!!!
Praise God for His abundant blessing - can't wait to hear the good news:)
I am so glad it all went well! I can't wait to hear about his progress! My sisters little girl had eye surgery at about 18 months. It was so funny to see her on the drugs because normally she talked so much and so fast that you could not understrand her. The drugs they gave her slowed her down so much that every word she said was clear as a bell!
So glad he did well, and I hope all is great!!!
