First off!! New do! :) I finally got my hair cut and am enjoying it tremendously. It is super easy to take care of.
Is it Monday already?? We had a fabulous time at our friend's wedding down in Dallas, Cameron was the best man and it was a blast. Jeremy and Cameron have been friends since they were little boys. Beverlee started keeping him when Jeremy was around 4. He is 4 years younger than Cam so he really felt like he had a little brother. Ever since Cameron doesn't refer to him as a friend he is referred to as his brother. Here is run down of our weekend with pictures. It was just so fun...
Thursday~FINALLY we got out of town around 2:00. Glad we shot for noon or we probably wouldn't have left until midnight. But we got off and had a great trip with only Mason with us. He didn't ask for the volume to be up or down. He didn't tell us he had to go potty. He didn't interrupt our conversation. He was just a perfect traveling partner.
We went to Harvin and D'Sha's first and had a nice night and didn't stay too long because we were due in Dallas on Friday pretty early.
Friday~Went to see my friend Jordan at the hospital first. It was wonderful to see with my own eyes that she was headed down the path to recovery and healing. I also finally got to see her precious baby girl. Wow-she is a cutie for sure. I still ask for you to pray that these last few procedures and incidentals will be taken care of so that she can go home to her parents house and then back up here.
Went to Jeremy's apartment and honestly kinda forgot what a bachelor pad looks like. His place took me back real quick. But then we finally got to check into our hotel. Most of the wedding party stayed at the Renaissance Hotel right next door to Children's Medical. When I went to check in she said we would be staying on the 30th floor. WHAT??? I am not hugely afraid of heights but 30 floors is really high. I only stood next to the window for a short time to see where we were. Friday night we had the rehearsal and then the dinner. I can't think of the name of the place but it was good Mexican food and we had a great time.
Mason had a horrible tummy ache and Bappy (Jeremy's) grandpa) rubbed his tummy for us to help him relieve some gas. Bappy was the miracle worker. I think it was the only time that Mason was still and quiet without being bounced or patted. I also have concluded that Mason does not like me eating eggs. Just my own little scientific experiment I have been conducting.

Saturday~Breakfast at the hotel and then we are off. Cameron didn't have to do anything for a while so I coaxed him into going over to Grapevine Mills Mall and do a little shopping. I wanted to go to the Carter's outlet mainly because they have the BEST deals on Carter's stuff. I know you can get Carter's everywhere but the best price is actually at the Carter's store. They had a baby sale going on and I got everything there at either 50% or 70% off. WAHOO!!! Cannon got some much needed pants for $5.00 and matching baseball jerseys for the boys for $2.00. I also purchased the kid's Easter outfits. SUPER CUTE! Mason and Cannon are matching and Grace's dress is a little more grown up than in the past. Super sweet and simple. I could go on and on about shopping but back to the wedding. :) Here is my handsome hubby in his tuxedo.

Shannon was just gorgeous!!! I loved her dress and the chapel was beautiful. They got married at Perkin's Chapel on the SMU campus.

Cameron gave a toast and if you know my husband it was heartfelt but he also was so nervous he could die! He kept asking me what I thought he should say and in the end he did a great job on his own. Nothing makes you feel old until your flower girl at your wedding is now 17!!! Desha (Jeremy's sister) just turned 17 and was our flower girl 8 years ago. She is just gorgeous and LOVED holding Mason almost as much at Jeremy's mom. I tell you what we didn't have any problem of help with him this weekend at all.
At last all good things must come to an end. We loved being able to share in the joy of Jeremy and Shannon's special day.
