Jordan McCall

My coworker Jordan McCall is going through an incredibly tough situation. I do not know all the fine details but please check their blog http://themccallfamilytx.blogspot.com/ and pray over her family. Jordan is a precious person that I have had a privilege getting to know better this school year. She also happens to be Gracelyn's pre-k teacher as well. Jordan had a baby girl February 28th named Phoebe Mae and on top of going through this has the added worry of not getting to bond with her newborn while in the hospital.

Holy Father,
Please wrap your arms around Jordan. Shower her with your peace and mercy. I know you are the ultimate healer and can heal her body totally. I have faith that can do this and boldly proclaim that you take her cancer away and heal her body in a way that only you can. You are a miracle worker Lord. A miracle is what we need for Jordan. Bless the doctors that are overseeing her Lord. Give them the knowledge and wisdom to make the best decisions for Jordan. Be with Brad, Eli and Phoebe while Jordan is in the hospital. I praise you Lord and give you all the glory for your work.
In Him,
Amen

Howard McCall, father in law. saturday morning. We spent last night about 40 min with Brad and the surgeon. He is very optimistic about Jordon's recovery. He took out one tumor of the liver that was about the size of two tennis balls but the good news is that the liver will reproduce itself in about six weeks to replace what he took out. Jordon will probably be in the hospital one week and then 2 to 4 days in Dallas before returning to Amarillo. She will start a pill form of chemo, Gleevec, which has proven to be very good on her type of tumor. He was very excouraging. Prayers are still needed and it will be a while before she is out of the woods but he was really upbeat about her recovery.
