Blogging Slump

I have a few blogs that I read that have recently been very intriguing to read. I check them often in a day and sit with anticipation for the next post. Do you guys have some you can't wait to read? I love my morning ritual of reading the newspaper online and then onto the blog roll that is increasing almost daily. You know the friend of a friend of a friend that made lasagna last night and it was heavenly and you just love looking at the pictures that prove it. Well I am a nerd like that and just love clicking on other people's blog rolls and seeing who all they know. I know I have posted about this before and I have been better about lurking but now my own blogging has been in a slump. I have slacked in the posting department because I have blog envy. I start something and think~hmmmmm.... Mason learning to wipe a booger on his brother is not near as interesting as what so and so is doing. Funny but not wow!! Okay I know that everything that my kids do is wow but come on~boogers compared to someone in deep emotional thought is just not comparable. So I have backed off of blogging for the fear of letting myself down. My friend Jordan recently blogged about not getting to write about a conference that was over-the-top fantastic because she wanted to do it justice and write something that would make us all proud. Well I guess I fall into that category as well. I want my posts to be wow.

Until I come up with something more WOW you will get boring, mundane posts about how sweet baby Mason has learned to wipe boogers on his brother! Now that is blog worthy!

Keri, I may not like boogers BUT it is funny to read about YOUR boys doing that! I love your blog and enjoy reading it! I too struggle with my post but have decided if it is not interesting enough for people then they don't need to read it! I have fun rambling about the weird and sometimes gross things that go on in the Blackwell houshold! Love ya

Keri Keri Keri---I have dearly missed reading blog posts from you. I find myself checking my friends' blogs about 20 times a day waiting for something...ANYTHING new. After all, our household is probably the most boring there is but I still find something to throw on here on a regular basis. I agree w/Carri too.
You are a GREAT blogger and I want to read all about you and your sweet family!

I love booger stories... I can relate! Dacie blew a "booger bubble" the other day... does that make you feel like you're in good blogging company!?

Are you kidding? Write about those boogers! Who cares?!? That's your life--and it is interesting! :)

Thanks for the nice words, and for the prayers. Please don't stop now! :)

If you think about it, life itself is not always deeply sentimental and we are not always locked in deep thought. So bring in the gushy, boggery stories. We like hearing about those as well!
