...and that's just what he'll do. And one of these days this boy is gonna walk all over you!
Yes it is true blog fans... MASON IS WALKING! He started talking steps last week but it was 3-4 at a time. Never more and it just amazed me that while I was gone on a conference Mason decided that he needed to go ahead and take the plunge into full time walking mode. It is precious to watch and see his unsteady, wobbly legs take him across the floor. The most precious part is that he usually has the most full-faced grin to help him do it. He is so proud of himself. Mason decided that 15 months was perfect for him to start his walking journey.
I was beside myself with joy when I spoke to Cam on Friday afternoon about it. I really thought it was stinky that I had to be out of town but deep down I knew there was a purpose to me being gone when all the excitement happened. Cameron hasn't ever been there during the initial moments of walking with Cannon or Grace. I usually meet him at the door with a silly grin asking him to hurry and come see something. Although I did get to see the first steps. Cameron got to experience the first walking. I got to be on the receiving end of that joy that fills your soul when you watch your child decide that walking might be a good thing.
I will say that although our littlest Melban is upright he is still our baby. Toddler is just not something I am willing to concede to yet.
I do not have a picture yet. I am always too excited to remember the camera. Also I have been very frustrated with our camera lately... It is way slow I am always missing out on great pictures waiting for the camera to keep up with my clicking. Soon, very soon.

That's sooo exciting! It's amazing, you're right, they must have had a little talk about walking with each other the other day at church!
Yay! Congratulations for Mason! I know this changes absolutely everything from now on... I agree with holding off on the toddler thing... to hard to let go of the baby stage.
