a camping we will go
hi ho the dair-i-o
a camping we will go
We are heading to a friend's family ranch down by Memphis on Sunday to "rough it" in an over-night camping trip. I say that literally because although we will be with wonderful friends, and have incredible food the only amenities will be a water hose. A true camp-out~fire pits, marshmallows on wire hangers, limited bathroom facilities (forgot to ask about trees), and plenty of fun. Pray for clear skies and well rested children. This will be a great way to start our SUMMER!
God has truly blessed me with a great job for the past 3 years. Jill dealt with being a boss with an incredible amount of grace and love. She was very successful in what she did all the while keeping the children the #1 focus. I am so excited for her and her family's new adventure of owning the Hudspeth House B&B in Canyon. I end my career of teaching at KU along with Jill. I have resigned and although I will miss it I am so excited to finally be a SAHM! I will be busy working with Cameron more on the paperwork side of the business. I will be volunteering more at Gracelyn's school and I will be free to work more at our church. God has laid out an incredible plan before me and it is amazing how He is fulfilling some desires of mine. I am so blessed by His faithfulness.
One huge downside to not teaching at KU is that I will be giving up my teaching partnership with Teresa. That is very hard for me to swallow. I have loved teaching along side her for 3 years and hate that our time is ending but again I get to revel in the fact that God opened up another door for us to serve together at church and continue to be a team in our Children's Ministry.

Keri,
Have a great family camping trip!!! Wow, you won't be at KU next year either :( I am excited for you that you get to stay home with your kiddos and do more for your church...the poem that you read Thursday was a tear jerker for sure! Hope you guys have a great Summer too :)
OH no! I hate that you aren't going to be there again. Dayton will be back next year, so I knew that who ever his teachers were that he would be okay. Teresa's not leaving is she? YOu are such a wonderful lady, i have loved getting to know you over field trips and such. But congrats to you!
I am happy for you that you get to stay at home! I agree with Hilary, the story WAS a tear-jerker! Have a great camping trip!
Thats great although I was hoping you and Teresa could teach Morgan. Your talents will be missed at KU. I am excited for you to get to stay home...What a blessing for you and your children!
I am so glad you are getting to stay at home with the kids. I know they will love having mommy home all the time! We are so excited to see the amazing things you will do with the children's ministry at church. Have a great week!
Love
Jill
