End of May:
- School let out and we were just thrilled to have Gracelyn home full time. The boys miss her sooo much while she is gone and ask for her all day. Now their attention is turned to Cameron's work schedule. I think I need to do a better job of teaching them anticipation. Oh well. But it was a great ending to a very successful year.
- Cameron and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with a trip for two to Oklahoma City. It was a great 5 days. We had originally thought we would go to Vegas or out east since neither of us had ever been that way but then I found out I was pregnant and traveling on such a big trip didn't sound as appealing. I am so glad our plans got altered. It really was just so fun to relax, do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted and have no schedule. We ate late, stayed up late, slept late, it was heaven.
- Gracelyn got to have a getaway of her own by taking a trip with Aunt Kassie for a week. She had a blast and of course missed us but not as much as we missed her.
June:
- Cameron came back from our trip and hasn't stopped since. He has a very busy summer. The Lord continues to bless us with work which is a huge thing but of course economy struggles happen to EVERYONE so it has been a little rough but we are making it. God continues to show his grace and mercy each day so how can we not be thankful for that?
- The boys continued in their MDO summer program. They just go once a week and have gotten to really enjoy some time away from mommy.
- Our new church (how long do you keep saying new?) has been really blessed by the Lord. Although there were a few days I wondered if I was really cut out for being apart of a new ministry I have continued to grow, be blessed, and love being associated with this body of Christ. Our children's ministry has taken off and that is always a HUGE addition to a church. We are having fun, loving the Lord and teaching children about the love of Christ. Cameron and my brother-in-law Eric were selected to be deacons and my dad was selected to be an elder. None of these titles is more important than any other member in the congregation but it just puts more accountability in the leadership. These men served the same before as they do now but there is more purpose behind it. More accountability, more commitment. I am proud of their faith journeys. The Lord has really worked on them individually and collectively which is just wonderful to watch. I get a front row seat in it all but still the whole group of elders and deacons is a blessing. The work that these men do for LTM is amazing. Their hearts and mission to serve our Lord is inspiring.
- Gracelyn and I have gone to dr. appointments, dentist appointments and just over all mommy/daughter time. I have loved it!!!
- Found out that Melban baby #4 will be a boy. That's old news now but seriously it is so fun to finally know what it is. We have two name choices that are equally liked by all. I have no idea how we will choose. I am ready to put them in a hat and draw but Cameron won't let me. I would love to have this boy named before his birth. I think that is so fun and something we haven't ever done before but why not now??? I will make a name post soon so hopefully you all can vote. Like I said each day I call him by both names. Hmmm... Maybe he can have 2 middle names. That would satisfy me.
- My dear mommy friend Amy (she used to be my college friend and then turned into my young married friend and then transferred to my mommy friend) had her 4th precious baby. Ava Patrice was born on the 25th and was just perfect. You will have to hop over to her blog to check her out.
July:
- We had the Ators out for some firework fun. Hop over there to see some fireworks and cute kids... It was fun as always for them to be here.
- Church had a huge 4th of July event at the Crums. Loved getting to watch the city fireworks.
- Working on getting the kids switched rooms. Three little boys in one room~WOWZERS! It will be so fun for them. Dad is painting a set of bunk beds for us and we will need to paint the light yellow room taupe. The mural will be painted a light pink. *sigh* That is going to be tough I won't lie. I have loved that mural and seriously find it hard to gear up to paint. I might have to let someone else actually do it. Gracelyn's room is the one I am having the most fun with. She is getting a bedroom makeover for her birthday (in 2 weeks YIKES) and it is soooo fun. She picked out her bedding and knows quite a bit of what it will look like so I made some wall art as a surprise for her. The colors are so fun and very bright. The boy's rooms will be brick red, navy and tan. Very boyish. I need to get inspired for decorations which I have a few ideas up my sleeve already. Here's a hint of what G's room will look like.
Okay I think that takes us up to today. We are going to Splash a local water park and although I know that 2 of my 3 will enjoy this adventure I am not so sure about the littlest one. He hasn't gotten wet all summer. Unless he is the holder of the water hose he doesn't want one little drop on his body. Should be fun! :)
Here's a few pictures taken at church:
And just because I think it is hilarious~I didn't know it was being taken of course but I did have the stance down perfect. Hands on lower back hips and belly out to yonder. I was about 22 weeks I think. Still a long ways to go. Take care everyone!!

Keri~
You look GREAT!!! Can't wait to hear what little Melban's name is going to be...August has two middle names two so I say go for it the double middle name :) Sounds like you guys have had a great Summer too!! Stay cool
Keri, that family picture is priceless!!! I love Mason's face-he's such a hoot!! And, for the first time ever, I can see resemblances in Gracelyn & Cannon...something about those pictures, I don't know. That is a really sweet one of them together & then the one of Cannon by himself just brought a tear to my eye, he just looks so sweet & grown up & such a precious child of God.
