This morning was just crazy. I woke up extra early and decided that going to first service would be better than waiting 2 whole hours for us to attend 2nd service. Our normal routine is get there during the 1st service and stay through 2nd. Best of both worlds but anyways this morning I thought let's go ahead and get going on this fine day. Cannon thought he really wanted to wear something else until Cam told him that if he wore his precious sweater vest he would get gum. Works every time. :)
So as we were rushing around I thought this might be a good day for Cannon to try something new. He is big/old enough to go upstairs for Children's Church and it was 3rd Sunday so it was changed up a bit. As we were waiting for the kids to be dismissed we had a prayer and I guess he thought Mr. Randall was going a little long because he kept poking me and saying, "Mommy, wake up! Mommy, wake up!" I couldn't help but snicker. He is such a cutie.
He was dismissed and besides a moment of panic when he realized there were a TON of kids he didn't know, he was fine. Sat like a big boy among children much older than him. I was so proud.
Cannon is really growing up and behaving in a way that makes you realize he isn't a toddler. He is a true pre-schooler. I tried so hard to hang onto the toddler hood age with him. After all we've been through with speech and behavior I can finally say we are through the tough times. Now don't get me wrong we are still three and in my book that is 10x worse than two but we are making improvements. He is incredibly fun, lovable, SMART, and so cute.
